This week, aviation had a great achievement in air travel. The Boeing Company revealed the Boeing 787 "Dreamliner", which is the most sophisticated aircraft of its kind. Having the Boeing campus in my backyard, per se, I am proud of them! I know many computer engineers at Boeing and value their dedication to make this great. Equally, the Dreamliner wouldn't be a trendsetter if it were not for the futuristic work of the engineers at Rockwell Collins. A true partnership leads to great things. A fantastic team effort.
As most travelers board planes today, most will never realize the hours of work from committed people that help ensure air safety and comfort. As a frequent business traveler, it is very exciting to see technology improvements! Knowing that this is just the beginning to what aviation will look like is exciting.
